Come out and support the Schizophrenia Society of Alberta’s OPEN MINDS WALK AND RUN September 19, 2015 in Rundle Park. Open Minds Walk & Run is an annual 2.5km fun walk, 5km and 10km run in support of families living with mental illness. Enjoy a continental breakfast, lunch, entertainment and silent auction while raising awareness for mental health! What is Schizophrenia?
1 in every 100 Canadians are affected by schizophrenia. Schizophrenia is a physical disorder that affects the brain, and consequently can have major impacts on an individual’s thought processes, cognitive abilities, and behaviors.
