    Who is OverHaul Fitness?

OverHaul Fitness is a Mobile and Online Personal Training company that specializes in weight loss.

What does mobile mean? It means we come to you: we meet you at the closest Public Facility In Edmonton or Sherwood Park (eg. Terwillegar, Kinsmen, Millennium Place, etc.) or we can even meet you are your house or do the odd outside workout when the weather is nice; we have a TRX and a few other pieces of equipment.

What is Online Personal Training?  We upload the workouts we’ve created for you, as well as your nutrition program (like a meal plan), to a smartphone app (where you can follow along as you workout and input your reps and weights) and website (where you can print out your workout, meal plan, etc.).  We then coach you through your program “from a distance,” and connect via in-app messaging, emails, skype, or phone calls; we even do face-to-face meetings for local clients (Edmonton and surrounding area).

    Our Philosophy:

We are big believers in practicality, we believe in coaching our clients to make small practical changes that have large, long lasting and impactful results.  We also value educating our clients so that we can empower them and provide them with the necessary information to become independent.

We also work closely with Andrea Hardy, RD, from Ignite Nutrition, which allows us to provide the greatest level of expertise for weight loss.  Further, it allows us to broaden the clientele that we can work with while remaining in the scope of our practice; with Andrea’s help we are able to effectively help Diabetics, Crohns, Gluten & Lactose intolerances, etc.  Something to note: all services done with our Dietitian can be claimed with your health benefits.

“We help you trim your waistline, In-person or Online.”

    What is Online Training?

Online Personal Training is a great tool for people looking for guidance, accountability, and motivation, but want the aspects of convenience, flexibility, and affordability. Wow, that’s a lot of adjectives. In a nutshell, Online Personal Training gives you all the resources that you need, but we just aren’t physically there in-person training you.

    What is Mobile Training?

Mobile personal training means that we come to you, we primarily meet our clients at public facilities (eg. Terwillegar, Kinsmen, Millennium Place, etc.) but we also meet at: select private gyms, our clients’ homes, or even outside (see picture above). • Edmonton Public Schools Foundation

    foundation.epsb.ca/ 780-970-5238 10610 129 Avenue, Edmonton

At the Foundation, we follow one main philosophy — to help children get ready for life through public education. But what does that really mean?

Before they even start Kindergarten, children begin learning. Research tells us that 75 per cent of brain growth occurs before age six. When children live in vulnerable circumstances without opportunities for healthy growth, their future success becomes threatened. So what can be done?

    That’s where we come in.

At Edmonton Public Schools, the unwavering belief that all children should leave the public education system with the competencies needed to prepare them for a lifetime of success guides our work.

The Foundation was launched February 10, 2010, for two main purposes: to spread the word about the great things happening in the public education system and to support Edmonton Public Schools across Edmonton. We do this by offering opportunities for improved learning through financial, in-kind and human resource contributions.

So what we really do here is raise friends and funds to support early learning intervention and student success. Research shows children develop the foundation for strong communication skills, literacy, social competence, numeracy, adaptability and physical health as early as age three.

We know investing in children today means investing in their future, our communities and our society.

As a two-person operation, we currently support two main programs: Early Learning and Full-Day Kindergarten. We provide support to schools with students considered Edmonton’s most socially vulnerable citizens. Foundation staff: Director Tracy Poulin and Fund Development Associate Alva Shewchuk.

We’re ready for you! We want to help you get involved in whatever way works best for you. Giving comes in all forms: financial contributions, in-kind donations and time. Whatever you choose to give, we are more than happy to receive.

With your support, socially vulnerable children will have access to a full-day of learning in a Kindergarten classroom. Here’s how you can help!

    -Make a financial contribution

100 per cent of all contributions go directly into a full-day Kindergarten program.

Donations of $25 or more are eligible for an official donation receipt.

Contact us to make a contribution via cheque or cash.

    -Make an in-kind donation

Our schools are in need of resources and items that can enrich the learning environment. Contact us if you have books, mittens and toques, educational supplies, furniture, etc. to donate.

    -Give us with your time

We are always looking for new Foundation friends. Contact us if you’d like to:
